Rust removing and passivation

Rust removing is advised mainly as an after treatment of thermic cleaning. After high power washing parts flash rust may appear depending on the carbon ratio of the part. Using mechanical or chemical methods the rust can be greatly removed, or transformed, this way the part doesn’t contaminate the paintline during reuse.

In passivation, using chemicals, on the surface a thin layer of coat appears that keeps the metal from contacting oxigen, offerring a short term protection.
